RESPONSIBILITY AT KÄSTLE

At Kästle, we recognize our integral role in shaping a sustainable and prosperous future for all. We are committed to conducting our business in a responsible and ethical manner that upholds the well-being of our planet, society, and stakeholders. Our responsibility goes beyond profit; it extends to making a positive impact on the world around us.

YOUR CHOICE

Nature is our most important asset. From the beautiful tracks that we traverse on cross-country skis, to the deep-snow mountains that give us the best powder days and the highest peaks that we climb on our touring skis. They not only guarantee the economic success of our industry, they are also our home.

And a home it is to you as well. We know, that when you choose our products, you put your trust into us. That is why we see it not only as our duty, but also as a personal desire to preserve and sustainably strengthen those beautiful landscapes with all its wildlife.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Our responsibility, the Kästle "Responsibility" encompasses a wide range of areas: From the careful selection of our materials, to the investment in new technologies for resource-saving and -recycling processing, to the final product. It also includes fair and equal working conditions for our employees, as well as fruitful collaboration and communication on an equal footing with our distributors, athletes and brand ambassadors.

For all of them, the credo is to work and act in a transparent, honest and solution-oriented way.

We know we are still at the beginning of a long journey and are far from perfect. However, we are dedicated to get this done. And we believe this topic requires a collective effort - that's why we collaborate with fellow ski manufactures, unions, dealers, skiing destinations and last but not least you as our customer.

WINTER SPORTS NETWORK

The FESI* Winter Sports Network (WSN) is about knowledge sharing and working together on the sustainability challenges the industry faces. The network format is built around 4 annual meetings with ‘round table’ discussions, in combination with input from invited industry experts to increase the knowledge within the group. In addition to the meetings, projects will be defined where the members will have the opportunity to team up around activities that are high on their agenda. Actions for collaboration can range from circularity and end-of-life initiatives to common environmental footprinting tools.
