Julien Viel

Julien is a Canadian moguls skier from Mont-Sainte-Anne, Québec. Coming from a freestyle skiing family—his father skied on the national team, his mother competed provincially, and even his grandfather still skis moguls—Julien was on skis before his second birthday. He joined the Mont-Sainte-Anne Freestyle Ski Club at age five and rose quickly through the ranks. A member of Freestyle Canada since 2020, he has earned World Cup podiums in moguls and dual moguls, including silver at Val St-Come and bronze at Beidahu in 2025.
