BIO

Tamara grew up in Mautern, Styria where she still lives today. At the age of 2, she started skiing and a year later she skied her first race, which she ended on the podium. From that time on her motivation for skiing grew and grew. She joined the Skiklub SV Union Mautern at the age of 8. Her focus was on hard training to further develop her skills. She successfully finished the sport focused schools in Eisenerz and Schladming. At the age of 16 she skied her first FIS races and a year later she celebrated her first youth national title in super-G. In 2009, at 18 years old, she skied her first Europa Cup race.

In 2011 Tamara celebrated her World Cup debut at the downhill in Lake Louise. She scored her first World Cup points in 2013 at the combination in Méribel.  Her first World Cup podium followed surprisingly at the super-G in Lake Louise in 2015. Since that she achieved 10 World Cup podiums, but she is still waiting for her first victory. The season 24|25 will be her comeback season after welcoming her first child in September 2023.
