BIO

Veronica „Roni“ Remme is a German Canadian ski racer born in 1996 in Collingwood, Ontario. There, at the age of eleven, she attended the National Ski Academy and graduated from high school. Despite a few injuries, she was accepted to the Alpine Canada Development Team. Starting in 2015, she attended the University of Utah and was part of the Utah Utes school athletic department (NCAA). In 2020, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in business.

Roni achieved her first major international success in January 2012 by winning the slalom silver medal at the Winter Youth Olympic Games. She subsequently made her debut in the Nor-Am Cup in February 2012, where she achieved her first top results in the 2012/13 season. She made her World cup debut on December 1, 2017 , at the downhill in Lake Louise. Since then, she has repeatedly managed to score World Cup points there, however, her greater successes have been limited to the Nor-Am Cup, where she was able to win the Super-G, downhill and overall championship in the 2017/18 season.

On October 12, 2022, Roni announced that she would be competing for the German Ski Association in the future.
