Monika Novakova

BIO

Monika skis since she was a little girl. Apart from that, she also devotes her life to other action sports like, highdiving, biking or running. In 2016, she started to compete in the Freeride World Qualifier series, and was able to achieve some successful results in the season 2018/19, even including a few podium places. This lead to her being able to compete in the 4* event during the Winter New Zealand games.

In the future, her dream is to get as far as possible within the FWQ series, as well as becoming a heliski guide. To achieve this last goal, Monika already took part in a few courses and had the chance to guide some groups in South America. As a former designer, she took her interests in the mountains even further and created her own apparel brand.
